We are seeking an Operations Manager to oversee the operations of our warehouse and team in Cavan, Adelaide. These are fast-moving facilities sit at the heart of our rapidly growing company and are where we manage our fast-moving inventory.
Selection Criteria
Experience in a FMCG Environment
Experience In warehouse and operational management
Knowledge in WMS and ERP (NetSuite) is preferred
Demonstrated high work ethic & reliable work history
Advanced problem-solving skills
Excellent communication skills at all levels
Solid technical and IT based skills
Experience in planning, performance metrics and process improvement
Physical Fitness – ability to walk, drive, lift and carry heavy items
Core Responsibilities:
Warehouse operations -manage Sales orders, Picking, Stocking of inventory, Inter branch transfers and delivery drivers.
Logistics – monitoring scheduled deliveries and addressing problems to ensure that delivery and installation of our product is as per operating procedures.
Team Management – proactive team management to ensure positive work outcomes and efficient rostering and truck movements
Financial management – invoicing, reporting and recommendations
Stock Management – implementing high standards for stock handling to minimise damage and ensuring that warehouse operations such as equipment maintenance, receiving incoming orders, replenishment of consumables and waste management meet the Company’s quality control objectives.
Manage all aspects of product storage and inventory control within the warehouse by optimising space utilisation and conducting stock takes.
Fleet operations – monitoring delivery methods, ensuring that driving teams comply with vehicle operating procedures and maintenance of the vehicle fleet.
Ensuring all Workplace Health & Safety requirements are met and identifying and implementing improvements in the warehouse and on-road processes.
Continuous improvement – identifying problems and implementing protocols to minimise re-occurrence.
