We are looking for a machine operator to operate our machines as part of our Production Packaging Innovations’ production team.
This is a full-time role, reporting to the Production Supervisor.
Duties – but not limited to;
- Undertake jobs as assigned by Production Supervisor
- Make ready, run and maintain machinery per job – often a gluing machine
- Undertake die cutting, flexo printing, gluing, box making and laminating
- Feed raw materials and take off finished goods
- See production jobs through to dispatch by the requested time
- Undertake hand work as required
- Troubleshoot problems during machine operation
- Ensure that regular and preventative maintenance procedures are carried out
- Maintain effective record keeping on job cards including labour
- Maintain safety standards at all times including the safety of all team members
- Perform regular safety checks on machines
- Ensure and maintain quality standards at all times including presentation of finished goods
- Liaise with Designer to ensure product Quality standards are being met
- Provide relevant information regarding progress to Production Supervisor
- Ensure Good housekeeping standards are maintained.
