Migration Amendment (Skilling Australians Fund) Regulations 2018 came into effect on 12 August 2018.
From 12th August, If Australian employers want to hire and sponsor overseas employees, SAF training fees need to be paid to the Australian government. This training fee will be collected by the Australian Education and Training Department for skills training.
