Success Story of Getting PR (1) (Mr. J’s Case)

Today, let us introduce about one of our clients’ amazing success stories to get PR. For his privacy, we call him Mr. J. This story goes back to 2018. This story begins with a shocking fact that he was caught by a department and stayed at the detention centre because he overstayed at Australia 2 months after the expiration of his Student Visa. Mr. J wasn’t eligible for applying for other visas and had no choice but to leave Australia within five days.

In such a desperate situation, he asked for our help. We consulted with him and researched about him in a rush. We found out that he had a girlfriend, and their relationship started a couple months ago. We asked her parents to be a sponsor for him because his girl friend was too young to be a sponsor for him. They agreed with being a sponsor with him and we requested the detention centre to release him. It was only one day before he was supposed to deport to his country. He was released soon after our request. Then, we suggested him they apply for Partner Visa and they agreed with this proposal and got a Bridging Visa E.

However, he was still hung on by a very delicate thread. It is because Mr. J wasn’t allowed to work in Australia even though he got the Bridging Visa. He visited us and asked for our help again. We asked his ex-boss to be a sponsor for him so that he could have a work right in Australia, and this effort was successful. Then, Mr. J applied for a Partner Visa. At this time, two years had passed since we met and he had a baby and was in a state of a de facto marriage. Finally, he got PR in Australia recently. Now, he lives in Australia happily with his wife and his two kids.  It took more than three years to reach this point.
