- Meet the Department of Home Affairs requirements including minimum financial requirements

In one of the requirements, it says you must have an INNOVATIVE business proposal. This is tricky and difficult. In this proposal, you will be required to show your business will contribute to innovation in Victorian economy through innovative products or process in a target sector (Health, medical research and life science / Digital / Agri-food / Advanced manufacturing / New energy, emissions reduction and circular economy). If your proposal and business isn’t regarded as innovative, your application would be refused even though you meet other requirements. The government is valuing this proposal.
